Taking on the Cyber World

While healing from surgery, I decided that I should go ahead and venture out on taking a class that I was so interested in studying. What was the class? It was all about cybersecurity. I had wanted to make this my 2nd minor while studying to get my bachelor’s in criminal justice.

It was a 6-8 month certificate course. I knew I had the time, and it would keep me occupied after surgery.  I began my journey of learning about cybersecurity. I begin to get a better understanding of this topic that is taking our world by storm.  I was learning the basic knowledge of cybersecurity, going into the complex side of cybersecurity. I was learning things like Risk Management, Python, Linux, SQL & Databases, and Security Domains, just to name a few topics.

I began to learn, study, and compute different functions and queries.  My brain was totally in overload, but I knew that in the end, it would pay off if I stood the test of finishing the course and earning my certificate in cybersecurity.  I now have the task of completing the actual certification test. I’m studying so I can go forward and complete this journey of getting my cybersecurity credentials.

If anyone has any suggestions or tips for me, please don’t hesitate to comment.
